Amplifier

Our Class D amplifier will receive an audio signal from the synth or other audio device. The amplifier is a high-performance analog input class D amplifier with the ability to drive up to 100 watts output power from low power inputs. That signal will feed into a pre-amplifier which will boost the signal to an audible range, or line level. That analog signal will then be converted into a digital signal when input into a comparator alongside a triangular waveform. This will input into our gate driver which will turn the power mosfets on and off, while significantly amplifying the signal. The high-performance switching transistor output stage is designed to have minimal crossover distortion which can achieve a low THD. Finally a low-pass filter will filter out unwanted frequencies and output to our speaker.
